Knee pads, elbow pads, and gloves are not required but recommended to prevent bumps and bruises when shooting from braced positions such as prone. What special gear do I need for the class? The same gear that you used during the 4-Day Defensive Handgun course or 2-Day Skill Builder course should serve you well in this course. Should I bring a backup weapon? A backup handgun is not necessary but recommended. Do I need a weapon-mounted dedicated flashlight? A dedicated flashlight will make life easier during the night exercises but is not mandatory. How late will I be at Front Sight during the night shoot? You will be at Front Sight for at least two hours after the sun sets. Obviously, sunset time changes seasonally. |
